ABOUT AFTERGRACE

Built from a life, not a market study.

AfterGrace began with one woman, one body scan, and a wardrobe that no longer fitted the life she was living. That woman is me.

I have spent 30 years in spa and wellness, globally and I have spent my career helping people feel at home in their bodies. And yet, somewhere in my late forties, I stopped feeling at home in my own activewear.

The leggings that once felt like a second skin started to roll at the waist. Tops clung exactly where I’d rather they didn’t. Sleeveless became a decision rather than a pleasure. And the number on every label seemed designed to tell me something about myself I had never asked to hear. My body had changed. My clothes hadn’t. So I decided to build the ones I couldn’t find.

Every AfterGrace pattern starts with a real body. Most activewear is drafted on a standard block designed decades ago for a younger shape. Ours begins with a precision 3D body scan of a real midlife body: mine. The scan showed exactly where standard patterns fail us. They fail at the waist, where most tops cling. They fail at the bust, which needs more room and better support. And they fail at the hip, because posture shifts it forward. Every piece we make is built around those truths. Our tops drape, skim or wrap, so nothing touches the waist. Our legwear smooths without squeezing. Every look gives you a choice of sleeve: bare, cap, three-quarter or full. And every strap, band and neckline is cut generously, because real support should never feel like a struggle.

We believe in real bodies and real images, so we never retouch body shape. We believe in no numbers: your size has a name, never a number to judge yourself by. We believe in comfort over compression, because support should feel like a hand on your back, not a grip. We make to order, so we only make what is ordered and nothing ends up as unsold stock. And we believe in every arm, every day: cover up or show off, it’s always your choice.

AfterGrace is my most personal project: the wardrobe I needed, made for every woman who needs it too. If your body has changed and your clothes haven’t kept up, you are exactly who I made this for. Our first collection, five signature tops for yoga and reformer Pilates, launches in June 2027.
